Our Pediatrician, Dr Brevil, is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. As a board certified Pediatrician she focuses on improving patient outcomes and providing responsive patient-centered care. She is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and St. Mathews University School of Medicine. Dr. Brevil completed internships in Dermatology and her Residency in General Pediatrics at Sinai Children's Hospital in Chicago Illinois. In 2013, she moved to Memphis to pursue post-doctoral training in Pediatric Endocrinology at LeBonheur Children's Hospital and the University of Tennessee Health and Science Center, and then joined the Clarksdale Children’s Clinic in 2014. Dr Brevil has not only received advanced medical training in pediatrics, but continually pursues ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest in child health care. Dr. Brevil currently serves on the Board of the Mississippi Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the premiere organization focusing on the health and wellbeing of all children. Dr. Brevil works with her peers all throughout the state to improve healthcare in Mississippi and beyond.

She enjoys developing long-term relationships with her patients and their families and having a positive impact on their health.

Xiaoming Hester, MSN, MBBS, FNP-C

We’re excited to welcome Nurse Practitioner Xiaoming Hester to join Dr. Brevil in practice. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with extensive medical training. She received both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing, Cum Laude, from the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) in 2015 and 2018 respectively. In 2021, she received her Family Nurse Practitioner Postmaster Certification from the University of Southern Mississippi and was awarded the RICE Scholarship for high academic achievement. Prior to moving to the United States, she also graduated from Peking University Medical Center in 2003 with a Bachelor of Medicine degree (equivalent M.D.) and worked as a physician overseas for 2 years. After moving to Mississippi, she continued to work in the medical field as a registered nurse in various settings with the Baptist Health Systems, St. Dominic’s Hospital, the Mississippi Department of Health, and at UMMC in Jackson. She also worked as a Nurse Practitioner with Magnolia Medical Clinic in Canton and Yazoo City. Committed to continuous professional development, she holds certifications in PALS, ACLS, and ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support). With a strong commitment to patient care, she is ready to utilize her extensive skills and knowledge to provide exceptional healthcare services.
